The Hawthorn Minibar and Lounge in Savannah, GA seamlessly blends history with libations, drawing inspiration from the hawthorn tree, a symbol of love, hope, and strength. The establishment's interior narrates a rich past through carefully sourced craftsmanship, such as the oak bar top repurposed from church pews and stained glass windows from the 1870s meticulously restored by a local artist.
The wainscoting surrounding the space tells tales of industrial labor from a North Carolina textile mill, while old-growth pine beams reclaimed from a deconstructed building stand as guardians of centuries past. A Knights Templar parade outfit from the early 1900s on display hints at the mysteries of ancient ceremonies and secret societies, inviting patrons to immerse themselves in a world where tradition and storytelling intertwine with each sip.
At The Hawthorn Minibar and Lounge, guests are not only invited to enjoy their drinks but to appreciate the rich history woven into every corner. From the unique decor to the ambiance steeped in tradition, the venue offers a setting where patrons can uncover tales of the past while creating new memories in the timeless allure of Savannah.
