Stop Da Stigma

History

During my transformation from drugs and coming out of prison, I was given the opportunity of acceptance at St. Stephen's Ministry, a transitional house for persons living with HIV and AIDS, which provided housing, and other support. I decided that I wanted to give back to the community that I may have caused damage to. I founded the Stop Da Stigma Foundation to bring education, awareness, and fundraising for HIV and AIDS, and assist newly diagnosed persons. Stop Da Stigma was incorporated in 2017 as a 501(c)(3) agency and is now supported by Georgia Client Council and the Mayor of Augusta has deemed August 26, Stop Da Stigma Day.

Specialties

Stop Da Stigma Foundation is a local organization dedicated to discontinuing the alienation of human beings living with and affected by hiv and aids. By assisting individuals and organizations in their efforts to make those living and affected by, live productive lives, not of stigma.
