St Joseph's/Candler Labs

Candler Hospital Laboratory provides a range of testing services for clinics, long-term care facilities and hospitals. It specializes in the areas of hematology, immunology, microbiology, histology, virology, cytology, surgical pathology, toxicology and endocrinology. The laboratory serves clients in Chatham, Bryan, Liberty, Candler, Effingham and Appling counties in Georgia. It also provides courier services. Candler Hospital Laboratory is accredited by The Joint Commission, College of American Pathologists, American Association of Blood Banks, and Georgia Department of Human Resources. It is operated by St. Joseph's/Candler, which offers primary care and inpatient and outpatient services. St. Joseph's/Candler works in affiliation with the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. It manages the Candler Foundation, which was established in 1983.
