Springfield Improvement Association and Archives (SIAA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in the heart of Historic Springfield in Jacksonville, Florida. With deep historical roots in the community, SIAA works tirelessly to enhance the quality of life in the neighborhood by beautifying public spaces, providing volunteer service, and preserving its rich history.
Originally founded in 1904 as the Springfield Improvement Association, the organization has evolved over the years and now operates as the Springfield Improvement Association and Woman's Club. In 2012, SIAA consolidated with the Springfield Heritage Education Center, acquiring valuable artifacts and records that contribute to the preservation of the community's heritage. As an all-volunteer organization, SIAA is dedicated to educating the community, maintaining its historical integrity, and fostering a sense of pride in Historic Springfield.
