The Coosa Valley Regional Development Center is a multicounty organization that consists of Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Paulding, Polk and Walker counties in northwestern Georgia and more than 30 municipalities. It is responsible for the implementation of the Georgia Planning Act of 1989 and the administration of the Area Agency on Aging. The organization also administers the Workforce Investment Act and provides planning and development assistance to member governments.
