The Georgia Appalachian Trail Club (GATC) has been dedicated to the management, maintenance, and protection of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in Georgia since 1930. With a membership of over 900 outdoor enthusiasts, the GATC organizes numerous events and volunteer opportunities to promote conservation and enhance the hiking experience along the trail.
