Minitech Machinery is a manufacturer of desktop manufacturing systems. The company sells machines to a number of markets, such as rapid prototyping, medical, small part production and jewelry making. It has sold thousands of machines in more than 30 countries. The company produced the first personal computer, Mini-Mill, in 1983. Currently, it produces the IBM 8080 PC with monochrome monitors and floppies. The company supplies machines and parts to a number of clients, such as Sony-Ericsson, Microsoft Corporation, Honeywell, Xerox Canada, Anacom, Biomet, Lucent Technology and the University of Denver. It also has alliances with numerous companies, such as The Engravers Journal, Sherline Products and Excalibur. Minitech Machinery is located in Norcross, Ga.
