Founded in 1968, The Pearl Abrasive Co. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the family run Pearlman Corporation. The company provides high quality, cost-effective abrasives. It has expanded from a small family enterprise into an international corporation selling coated and bonded abrasives, diamond super abrasives and equipment throughout North, central and South America. The various services provided by the company include co-op advertising, national advertising, private label programs and business-friendly policies. It has served several markets, such as lumber and rooting, masonry/brick/block, flooring supply, janitorial, stone fabrication, welding and ornamental iron. The Pearl Abrasive Company has introduced and invented various products like VX Series Tile Saws and Hexpin Surface Preparation System.
