Peachtree City Police Department

The Peachtree City Police Department is a law enforcement agency that preserves peace, protects residents lives and their property, arrests law violators, and prevents and deters crime. Located in Peachtree City, Ga., it supports Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), which is an international education program that seeks to prevent the usage of illegal drugs, gang activities and violent behavior. The Peachtree City Police Department operates the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), which deals with high-risk and dangerous situations, including barricaded persons, high-risk warrant arrests, explosive devices and heavily armed criminals. In addition, the department maintains an honor guard, community policing unit, and special and community response teams. The Peachtree City Police Department also has administration, patrol and criminal investigations divisions.
