Presbyterian Church in America, founded in 1973, is a denomination with more than 1,450 churches and missions throughout the United States and Canada. It consists of over 306,000 communicant and noncommunicant members. Located in Lawrenceville, Ga, the church s retirement division provides life, disability and retirement plan benefits. It also provides a relief fund for church pastors, lay church workers and the staff. Presbyterian Church in America also operates several intuitions, including Covenant College, a Christ-centered liberal arts college with more than 750 students. Its Christian education and publications consists of more than 13 regional trainers that organize conferences, seminars and workshops. It also provides a biblically based school curriculum through its publishing house. Additionally, it provides services, including a bookstore and video library that offers materials to teach and train church members.
