Okefenokee Pastimes Cabins, RV Park & Campground

We are a privately owned Cabin and Campground accommodations directly (only accommodations within 12 miles) across from the Main Entrance to the Okefenokee NWR (swamp). We have 3 full service cabins, 2 camper cabins (sleeping accommodations, all with ac), 19 Rv sites all pull through with full hook ups, 1 group tent site, 1 drive up tent site and 4 removed tent sites (drive up, walk 25- 50' and because of natural vegetation get the feeling of being in the wilderness, all sites have built in fire pits, picnic tables. All of the grounds are wi-fi accessible, a campground store, picnic area with Pavilion and Park spec charcoal grills, hummingbird, butterfly, pollinator area with a dock/sitting area to feed the fish as well as view the hummingbirds or just relax. A dog off leash exercise area with some play toys for your fury friend to stretch his legs. Laundry facility 2 washers, 2 dryers, pay in advance during office hours and only 1 guest at a time allowed in. Meeting/ activity room, Book exchange and free sign out dvd room, pond with fish feeding stations, bath/shower house (cleanest in area), and a nice relaxing atmosphere. We are a dark park for stargazing/astronomy, we have a dedicated astronomy field with a picnic pavilion and communal fire-pit for early evening social gatherings (lights and fire must be out 1/2hr after dark so not to interfere with astronomy operations). It will. soon to have rental rental sky shed pods so you can set your equipment up and leave it safely for daylight hours. As many may already know we are located in one of the darkest sky areas in the Southeast (no unnatural light pollution) and one of the 10 darkest areas in the US (lower 48).
