As natives to this part of North Georgia, we believe this area truly is a slice of heaven on earth, and we are excited to be helping others discover the peace and beauty of the mountains. Growing up here, we were familiar with the beautiful mountains, and we enjoyed swimming and skiing in the crystal clear lake every summer. We watched this area grow and change over the years. Some lands that had been damaged by devastating mining practices have been reclaimed to restore their scenic beauty. When Atlanta was chosen for the Summer Olympics in 1996, and the Ocoee River was the only in-river course to be used for Olympic slalom competition, even more people discovered the perfect vacation destination here in the “gateway to the mountains.” The year 1996 also marked the beginning for Wolf Creek Builders, our construction company. Nine years later, while working on a project for a cabin rental company, those owners suggested that with our knowledge of construction and experience in customer service, we should think about vacation rental management ourselves. After careful consideration, we opened Nevaeh Cabin Rentals in January 2006. Now in 2017 Wolf Creek Builders is still specializing in custom log homes, and Nevaeh Cabin Rentals is still offering prime vacation rental properties. Nevaeh Cabin Rentals remains a small, family owned business. Mary Jo and her cousins Linda and Sherry handle the office duties, and a small, hand-picked housekeeping and maintenance staff give personal care to each cabin. By limiting the number of cabins in our program we can be familiar with each cabin and aware of any problem as it arises. Our years of experience in construction give us an edge on maintaining these cabins in tip-top condition. Keeping our business small also allows us to give a greater degree of personal service to both our guests and our cabin owners. We take great pride in our community and all it has to offer, therefore, having our guests tell us how much they have enjoyed their stay in these mountains which are our home gives us a real sense of satisfaction.
