Mount Zion City Hall

The City of Mount Zion, established in 1852 by Reverend Thomas Hicks Martin, was originally known as Turkey Creek Mills, reflecting the area's abundant wild turkey population. The city adopted its current name in 1878, derived from the local Mount Zion Methodist Episcopal Church, which became a focal point of the community.
