Morris Tate Real Estate was established in January 2008, a few short months before the beginning of the Great Recession. The business, guided by owner Thomas Crone, was forced to deal with the market of the moment, focusing on foreclosures and short sales. With time, new construction communities returned to the market and a specialty division of Morris Tate Real Estate was established in partnership with 3 other real estate professionals, The Home Team, to market and sell new construction homes during the down turn, representing the few local builders who were in a position to build. As the market came back to a healthy inventory, a shift occurred, where the focus became the new market of the moment, traditional resales and helping sellers maximize on their profitability through pricing, condition, and marketing consultation, while continuing to help buyers achieve their home ownership goals. Most recently, commercial experts are partnering with Morris Tate Real Estate.
