Michael Yonz, MD

Christopher Yonz, MD, orthopedic surgeon at Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery, received his medical degree from Emory University of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. During his fellowship at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, he provided sports medicine services to a number of high level, division I athletes who now play professionally. Through this experience, Dr Yonz has special knowledge of both surgical and nonsurgical treatments, managing sports injuries and the complex working relationship between trainers, coaches and doctors.
