Michael J. Sullivan, MD

Denny A Carter, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and joint replacement. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has an additional subspecialty certificate in sports medicine issued by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr Carter is credentialed for Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery procedures and has been performing robotic-arm assisted surgery for more than a decade. Dr Carter Dr Carter grew up in Georgia with a love of sports and the outdoors. He joined Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery in 2003.

A board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Beau Sasser, MD, specializes in sports medicine and shoulder, hip and knee joint replacement. Dr Sasser is credentialed for Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery procedures and has been performing robotic-assisted surgery for over a decade. He also performs the Arthrex Virtual Implant Positioning (VIP) shoulder replacement procedures. Dr Sasser serves as medical director of the Southeast Georgia Health System Sports Medicine department. Dr Sasser is a native of Glynn County and a graduate of Glynn Academy. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.

Jason G Bowman, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Summit Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery in Brunswick and St. Simons Island, Georgia. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery, treating a wide variety of sports injuries such as sprains and ankle instability, as well as ankle deformities, including bunions, hammertoes, and arthritis. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his son, two dogs, and wife.
