Dr. Baker earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He then remained at the Medical College of Georgia where he completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Traumatology at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Baker is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and has over nine years of experience. Dr. Baker specializes in orthopedic trauma and complex fracture care including pelvis and acetabular fractures, peri-articular fractures of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. As well as post-traumatic deformity, nonunion, malunion, and reconstructive surgery. His special interests include pelvis and acetabular fractures, tibial plateau fractures, and circular (Ilizarov) and spatial frame techniques. In his spare time, Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with family, weight lifting, Crossfit, golf, and mountaineering.

Dr. Paul Henkel, a graduate of The University of Georgia, earned his medical degree at The Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. He then attended Holston Valley Medical Center (now East Tennessee State University) where he completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery. His interests include fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, complex fractures of the upper and lower extremities, and total hip arthroplasty. Dr. Henkel is involved in orthopaedic surgery education both nationally and globally. He has numerous peer-reviewed orthopaedic and scientific publications and has authored orthopaedic trauma book chapters. He is active in the AO surgical education program, a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. In his spare time, Dr. Henkel enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children enjoying the outdoors and staying active. Dr. Henkel and his wife both attended The University of Georgia and met as undergraduate students, and Dr. Henkel played 4 years on the UGA Lacrosse team.
