HistoryI picked up my first camera as a sophomore in college. Those were the early days of digital, but I learned on an old, borrowed film camera. The way I looked a the world changed, and I loved the experience of being in the darkroom. While many things have changed in the photography world since that time, my desire to capture fleeting moments has not. You see, since my first days of holding a camera I have met the love of my life, and we have had four beautiful boys together. They change every day, so I understand how important it is for you to document special events and relationships; to catch a little glimpse of that moment in time. So, whether you are just starting your journey of marriage or parenthood, I understand the beauty of each beginning. Maybe you are re-discovering yourself or re-branding your business; again, I have been there. Let's find a time to chat to see if Simple Snaps by April is the right fit to create images that will outlast our lifetime.SpecialtiesSimple Snaps by April is a contemporary portrait studio located just off the square in Downtown Lawrenceville. I use neutral tones and minimal props to keep you and your loved ones the focus of the photographs. In the studio, I offer maternity, newborns, children, contemporary portraits, and headshot sessions. My goal is for you to be comfortable and to enjoy your session time. Before your session, I provide a phone or Facetime consultation to discuss clothing options and to talk about how you want to be photographed. You can even come in before the session to check out the studio so you will be 100% comfortable the day of. During your session, I provide light snacks and bottled water. You are welcome to bring a playlist, or I will use one of mine. The service doesn't end after your session. I hand edit each photo, then present your photos in person at a personal viewing party. At that time, you choose the photos you love, and together we will create the perfect products for your home. I am a member of the Georgia Professional Photographer's Association and the Professional Photographers of America. I am a mother of four and have years of experience working with tweens and teens.
