Marc Unterman, MD

David B. Casey, MD, PhD is a native of Opelousas, LA. While attending Southern University, David spent his summers conducting research at Stanford University. Dr. Casey is a member of the American College of Cardiology and board certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Casey is excited to bring his years of training in the treatment of coronary and peripheral vascular disease with minimally invasive techniques to Piedmont.

Our experienced cardiologists offer comprehensive heart care including treatment of coronary artery disease, heart attacks, heart failure and heart rhythm abnormalities as well as offering preventative care for those at risk of heart disease.

Edward Clermont, MD specializes in cardiac electrophysiology, which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Clermont brings a tremendous amount of expertise in caring for patients with many heart rhythm conditions and is be able to diagnose and treat these patients at Piedmont-Eastside Medical Center, in their state-of-the-art electrophysiology lab.
