Louis Battey, Jr., MD

Vida Umstead, NP, earned her Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Florida. She has been board certified by the ANCC since 2001 and CDCES certified since 2021. Vida brings over 20 years of experience and has a strong passion for diabetic care and education. She strives to empower individuals and their families in managing their health effectively. Vida specializes in comprehensive care for acute and chronic conditions for ages 2 and up. Her special interest includes diabetes care and supporting patients in achieving better health through lifecycle changes and nutrition. In her spare time, Vida enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, agility training with her Lab, Winston, hiking in North Georgia, and reading. Vida is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.

Dr. Khan received her medical degree from the prestigious King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She moved to the Atlanta area soon after finishing medical school and started her internal medicine residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine. On the way to completing her training at Morehouse and Grady Hospital, she was named Intern of the Year. Her passion for endocrinology led her to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB) where she completed her fellowship training in 2013. She decided to remain with UTMB and served as the Assistant Professor in the endocrinology department while building a thriving practice. She returned to her roots and moved back to Atlanta in 2019 to be closer to family. Throughout her medical career, Dr. Khan has presented and published articles on unique and rare endocrine conditions. She is passionate about taking care of her patients and forging long-term relationships. She is dedicated to improving her patients' lives. She loves unearthing rare medical conditions and make a difference in patients' lives. Dr. Khan is double board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and is a member of the American Association of Endocrinologists. Dr. Khan specializes in endocrinology also known as hormone related medical diseases and has a special interest in management of diabetes mellitus type 1 with newer technologies, advanced treatments of diabetes mellitus type 2 and thyroid related disorders. She also treats lipid disorders, obesity, metabolic syndrome, PCOS, parathyroid diseases, disorders of pituitary and adrenal gland and osteoporosis. In her spare time, Dr. Khan enjoys exploring coffee shops and exercising. Dr. Khan welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Victoria Hilton, FNP-BC, earned her nurse practitioner degree from Kennesaw State University. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing and her minor in gerontology from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. Victoria has been a nurse for 13 years, working throughout Northern Georgia during that time. Her most recent experience was in the medical and acute rehab neuro ICU, but the totality of her experience spans across the continuum of care. She has worked in long-term memory care, home health and medical-surgical care. Victoria specializes in primary and family care. She has a special interest in social determinants of health, health education and patient-centered care. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys playing games with her friends and family, hiking, star gazing, learning new things and snuggling her dog. Victoria is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
