HistoryIn April, 2009, Scott and Kim Thomas opened a little bakery and bulk foods store in Watkinsville, Georgia. It was their desire to bring fresh, home-baked goods and bulk foods for everyone to enjoy. The store was sold in June of 2012 to James and Alisa Ware with the desire to continue what the Thomas' started. In April of 2014, Kirsten Bradford, a professional pastry chef, purchased the Granary to pursue a dream of owning her own bakery. Although the bulk foods side of the store will be down-sized, the new additions and the name change continue the much loved journey that Kim started...the little bakery in Watkinsville.SpecialtiesKiki's Bakeshop is a full service bakery that aims to please with hand-crafted, tasty, home-baked goods. Our offering includes fresh bread, baguettes, croissants, bagels, scones, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, bacon & cheddar scones, pies, tarts, cheesecakes, bar desserts (brownies, lemon bars, etc.), cupcakes, layered cakes, upside down cakes, bundt cakes, puddings, and more. In our deli, we offer pimento cheese, chicken salad, tuna salad, and hummus freshly made in-house. To go with these, we have pita chips and ciabatta toast points. We have cheese rounds, bagged mini cookies, and croutons made from our awesome breads! Some items listed are by special request, but our pastry and refrigerated cases are full each morning with yummy treats! Come by and meet our staff ~ Kiki, Samantha, Bethany, Marcos, and Debbie.
