The business primarily consisted of a small welding facility and one repair tank to service automobile radiators. Current company President and CEO, Randy Amos, was in elementary school and would come by the shop in the afternoons and learn how to weld and repair radiators. Randy, by the age of 12, was considered one of the better repair men in the Jacksonville Area. He obtained his drivers license at the age of sixteen and soon became a pick-up and delivery driver for the company while still working on the bench. This early exposure to customer service and technical skills has been an invaluable tool for him by understanding the mechanic's needs and how they service their customers' vehicles. Randy continued to work at Lake Shore while graduating from high school and continuing his education and a receiving a B.S. degree from Jacksonville University in 1970 in Economics and Finance.
