Live Oak Dermatology was created from the ground up with the goal of enhancing value and creating the best experience for our patients possible, from check-in to check-out. Traffic can also be a challenge during the workweek. We have attempted to address these concerns by holding Saturday hours (by appointment only). -Online scheduling and rescheduling 24/7 You can schedule and reschedule appointments 24/7 through our website for new and existing patients (just click the scheduling tab on the home page). -Tele-dermatology (Virtual Online Visits) Tele-dermatology is the practice of dermatology from a remote location, a kind of virtual or online visit. -Secure Messaging Application With the secure messaging application we can invite you to a secure HIPPA compliant conversation. -New Office and Equipment We designed Live Oak Dermatology to feel comfortable and clean and to operate effectively. We want people to feel relaxed from the second they arrive at the office in order to have the best experience possible. -Convenient and Desirable location We love being in the heart of historic downtown Roswell, within walking distance to the restaurants and entertainment of the Canton Street district. We are located immediately next door to the public library (across Forrest Street). -Long Term Commitment and Continuity Some corporately owned medical practices may have high turnover of physicians or employ multiple physician assistants. This can be frustrating for patients who do not feel they get good continuity of care with this model. Live Oak Dermatology was founded by board certified dermatologist Brent Thomas Goedjen, MD who is still in the first half of his career. He is fully invested in serving the community of Roswell and Atlanta. He is building a practice with long term service in mind and will only seek team members and partners with similar values. We believe delivering the highest quality and convenient care requires ongoing adaptation. Using new technology as it becomes available to enhance the patient experience and taking patient feedback to heart, learning from criticism to improve over time.
