Lithonia Middle School

Lithonia Middle School serves more than 1,600 students in grades six through eight. The school conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as dance, drama, fine arts, and technical and physical education. It also features a band and choir. Lithonia Middle School supports a range of sports activities that includes football, basketball, and track and field. The school provides special education to gifted and talented students. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher-student association that conducts various fundraising activities and special programs. Its staff includes a custodian, psychologist, social worker, and speech and language therapist. The school also provides food, transportation, guidance counseling and health care. Located in Lithonia, Ga., Lithonia Middle School is a part of DeKalb County School System.
