History

Owner Zach Phillips, assisted by his parents Gil and Christine, is a USMC vet who proudly served our great country in Afghanistan prior to opening The Letterbox. The Phillips love hearing the stories of Downtown Atlanta in the 1900s from their parents, and wish to be part of bringing shopping back to Downtown!

Letterbox is a locally owned and operated general store and soda fountain located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. Come see where Coca-Cola was invented and sip a Cherry Vanilla Coke, or enjoy an ice cream sundae or a cup of espresso while soaking in the local vibe and browsing around at our interesting merchandise! We enjoy patrons from all walks of life and respectfully ask that all side arms remain holstered on our premise!
