Lassiter High School, located in Marietta, Ga., and established in 1981, enrolls more than 2,500 students. The school s curriculum includes advancement placement courses, college preparatory and scholar programs, and special education and diploma options. Lassiter High School has various academic departments, including English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages, physical education and visual arts. It also has departments for music, drama and character education. Lassiter High School s career and technology department offers various courses, and modern equipment and software. The school, through its renaissance and REACH program, supports and acknowledges outstanding educational achievements and contributions of Lassiter s students through reinforcement, recognition and reward programs. The school also provides extracurricular activities, such as marching band and performing arts, and offers clubs and organizations, and the Reserve Officers Training Corps programs. The school also provides various sports activities including football, volleyball and baseball.
