John Allen, M.D., earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, Georgia. He completed a residency in general surgery at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. In addition, he completed a fellowship in advanced GI/MIS/bariatric surgery at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Greenville in Greenville, SC.
