The Jepson Center for the Arts is Savannah's crown jewel when it comes to the contemporary art scene. Completed in 2006, the center boasts over 7,500 square feet of cutting edge exhibits, along with an auditorium that seats up to 220 guests, a gift shop and a cafe.

How to get to Jepson Center for the Arts
Jepson is located on Telfair Square in the heart of Savannah's historic district. The street address is 207 W. York Street, which is on the corner of W. York and Barnard. Jepson Center is a stop on all of the trolley tours that run throughout the historic district.

Best and worst time to go to Jepson Center for the Arts
To avoid the school group crowds, the best time to visit is from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. during the week, or on Sunday afternoons. Crowds swell on Saturdays throughout the year.

Admission to Jepson Center for the Arts
Adult admission is $12.00 per person. Students from kindergarten through college can expect to pay $5.00 per person, and children under the age of 5 are free.

Had a great time visiting. They had the costumes of Glenn close on display among other pictures and sculptures. It was $30 each adult and got you into 3 different locations. One being a tourist...

Not the best museum i've been to in my travels, but the building is pretty cool and the museum pass gets you into a couple other building tours as well as the Telfair museum across the street...

Highly recommend the family pass! If you live in the area and are just going for the day, spring for the year! Great way to get out of the summer heat and learn and explore!
