Emory Wesley Woods is a leading 44-bed hospital for adult psychiatric care in Atlanta and the Southeast. The goal of our inpatient care is diagnostic assessment, initial treatment, and crisis stabilization allowing the patient to safely transition from inpatient care back to the community. We offer services to diagnose and treat Adults 18 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Our hospital has inpatient beds, inpatient and outpatient electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) services, ketamine infusions and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) services, addiction services, an Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Partial Hospitalization Program and an Adult Intensive Outpatient Program.

Georgia Regional Hospital at Atlanta is a part of the Georgia Department of Human Resources and maintains various adult mental health units comprised of more than 120 beds and serves over five counties of Georgia. It also operates several forensic units that have nearly 80 beds and conducts the evaluation of criminals for trial and treatment. Georgia Regional Hospital additionally offers residential and intermediate care to individuals with developmental disabilities. It is responsible for outpatient dental services to developmentally disabled persons. In addition, the hospital operates a patient advocate and a patient rights committee that ensures patients rights are respected and upheld. Georgia Regional Hospital is located in Decatur, Ga.
