Highgate Estate & Gardens is a bed & breakfast and a wedding, event and concert venue with two acres of gardens and walkways, an historic house dating from 1810, a pavilion that has seating for up to 150 guests. Bed & Breakfast: we have six spacious bedrooms; five in the Manor House, one in the Groom's Cottage. Queen size beds are in each room. Three Manor House bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms; two Manor House bedrooms share a bathroom in the hallway. The Groom's Cottage has a bathroom on the first floor, the bedroom is on the second floor. A full breakfast is served. We are just a short walk to antique stores, restaurants and our local craft beer brewery, Oconee Brewing Company. See our website to make reservations. Tours of the estate: Highgate is one of the oldest and most beautiful of Greensboro's architectural treasures. The House and gardens are open to the public for tours by appointment only.
