Henson Mark J DPM

History

Once he graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science, Mark Henson, DPM went on to the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He stayed in Chicago to complete his residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital. After completing his residency, he purchased the Field Foot & Ankle Clinic and the Outpatient Center for Foot Surgery in Griffin, GA. There he updated the clinic and surgery center with state-of-the-art equipment. Recently, he opened a new facility in 2011 to help reach out to patients in Forsyth.

Specialties

On top of treating many of the most common foot and ankle conditions, Dr. Henson specializes in treating heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, and generalized wound care. He also discusses preventative diabetic foot care with his diabetic patients to help avoid the onset of diabetic foot ulcers and/or amputation.
