Megan Donald, NP, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southwestern State University and her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Georgia College and State University. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Megan worked as a family nurse practitioner in Macon, Georgia. Before that, she spent five years as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Megan is an active member of the international honor society for nursing, Sigma Theta Tau. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with family, reading and shopping.

Rachel Gray-Nelson, FNP-BC, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi and her Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialization in family practice, from Kennesaw State University. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Rachel worked as a family nurse practitioner in Hiram, Georgia for five years. She also worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, to include orthopedics and neurology. Rachel is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Alexandra Ackerman, NP earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of West Georgia and her Master of Science in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner at Columbus State University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Alexandra is also certified in Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, BLS and is a Certified Sex Counselor at Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. Alexandra specializes in Breast and Gynecologic Cancers, Iron Deficiency Anemia, Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, and Hypertension. Her special interests include Women's Health, Sexual Health and Wellness, Preventative Care, and Nutrition. In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys yoga, reading, hanging out with her husband and cats, playing video games, and various arts and crafts such as drawing, painting, and crocheting.
