Gwinnett County Dept of Planning and Development

The Gwinnett County Department of Planning and Development is a part of the government of Gwinnett County in Georgia. The department is responsible for promoting and enhancing the well-being of residents, visitors, businesses and property owners in the county. It administers a variety of programs and services for the maintenance and revitalization of existing neighborhoods. The Gwinnett County Department of Planning and Development handles matters related to regulation, plan review, and land development and building construction inspections through its development division. The department is also responsible for the enforcement of building codes and soil erosion and sediment control ordinances. The Gwinnett County Department of Planning and Development additionally handles long-range planning and zoning administration activities through its planning division.
