Georgia Support Services
Georgia Support Services, a division of Middle Georgia Behavioral Services LLC, was established in 1999 to provide family counseling services and expanded its offerings in 2003 to include Support Coordination for individuals with developmental disabilities in Georgia. With a mission to support individuals regardless of their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or spoken language, the organization aims to facilitate a real community life through individualized supports and services.
Currently serving over 1,500 individuals across three of Georgia's six regions, Georgia Support Services focuses on ensuring the health and safety of those they serve. Their Support Coordinators play a vital role in service planning and advocacy for funding and services, specifically for people enrolled in Georgia's Medicaid waiver program for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
