Garden City is a city in Chatham County, Georgia, United States. It lies along the Savannah River just northwest of Savannah. The population of Garden City was 8,778 according to the 2010 U.S. Census. Parts industrial and residential, the city is home to much of the heavy industry in Chatham County and also hosts the Port of Savannah, the flagship operation of the Georgia Ports Authority.

Garden City is part of the Savannah Metropolitan Statistical Area.
