Frey Elementary School

Mountain Park Elementary School offers a variety of educational programs to students in grades kindergarten through five. It offers programs for children with learning disabilities, speech and language impairments, behavior and emotional disorders, developmentally delays and autism. It also provides assistive technology, occupational, physical, art and music therapies. Its Peaceable Place Violence Prevention Program teaches conflict resolution, mediation and problem solving skills to all students. Its counselors also provide alcohol, tobacco and other drug information, and life skills to the entire student body. Its accelerated reader computerized reading management program motivates students for independent reading. Its Odyssey program provides enrichment for students with classes in French, Spanish, computer keyboarding, dance, etiquette, chess, karate, gymnastics and science, as well as daily after-school care. Its school arts program provides opportunities for students to experience educational and curriculum-based artistic performances.
