The Free Clinic of Rome is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing primary healthcare services to low-income, uninsured residents in the greater Rome area, including Floyd, Polk, Chattooga, Gordon, and Bartow counties. With an impressive workforce of 90 volunteers, the clinic aims to ensure that individuals without access to medical care receive the assistance they need.

In its commitment to community health, the Free Clinic handles approximately 4,000 patient encounters annually and dispenses around 7,000 prescriptions each year. Although the clinic no longer accepts private donations of medications or medical equipment, it remains focused on making a significant impact in the lives of those it serves through compassionate care and support.
