Fox Vineyards Winery

History

Started by John and Ken Fuchs in 1984, Fox Vineyards Winery has been active in Social Circle for over 30 years. Many of the current muscadine and scuppernong vines date back as far, as do the wine-making techniques. The third oldest winery in the state of Georgia, Fox Vineyards has continued to innovate, with such popular varieties Bonny Blueberry and Strawberry Shortcake. Dedicated to making wine that pairs well with southern cooking, many of our wines have become a local staple, with Scarlet Fox being donated as communion to the local Catholic Church and many people traveling from all over for a taste of southern charm.

Specialties

We are a small Georgia winery specializing in sweet, southern table wine. Though such popular varieties as Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon are available, our fruit wines are truly unique: strawberry, blueberry, and muscadine are but a few of our local specialties.
