The Dorminy Medical Center is a 70-plus-bed acute care facility that provides a range of personalized medical services. It is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a member of the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and the Georgia Rural Hospital Association (GHRA). The center, also known as DMC, offers clinical and nonclinical services. It provides rehabilitative and hospice care services. The Dorminy Medical Center has a laboratory for conducting mammography tests, MRIs and CT scans. Additionally, the center specializes in the areas of obstetrics, internal medicine, general surgery and pediatrics. It operates community health, case management, human resources, finance, marketing and dietary departments.

Our new state-of-the-art, 65-bed hospital was built in 1990. In 1993 we organized our corporate structure and Crisp Regional Health Services was created to oversee the hospital and its' other entities. With the restructuring of our organization came the addition of a home health program, a 143-bed nursing home, a retirement home, a hospice and home care program, a home health program, a dialysis facility and three rural health clinics in our bordering areas, along with one in Cordele. In addition, we have a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation facility, Crisp Regional Rehab, located in close proximity to the medical community. While growing we have not lost sight of our mission to provide quality care and assistance in an efficient and caring manner.
