Howard Rush joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in November 1984, following four years of service in the United States Navy. There, he served as a surface warfare officer and attained the rank of lieutenant. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Howard holds Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life, health, variable annuity and property-and-casualty insurance licenses. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, a certified Chartered Financial Consultant® and a Retirement Income Certified Professional®. With over 40 years of financial planning experience, Howard brings a values-centered approach and client-first philosophy to financial planning. Married for 44 years, Howard and his wife are actively involved in their local church's college ministry, where they disciple and mentor Auburn University students. Shawn Broe joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2018, following a 20-year career in the United States US Army, where he attained the rank of First Sergeant. Shawn understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Shawn holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Georgia, Alabama, and North Dakota. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Shawn serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. His thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables him to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and take full advantage of other benefits. Shawn will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in his community, Shawn is a volunteer for Phenix City Baseball. In his free time, Shawn enjoys spending time with family and working out. Will Kepley joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2015. He previously worked for 21 years as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army. A graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Will holds Series SIE, 6, 63, 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in GA, AL, OH, NM, NH, and MA. Will is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Active in his community, Will is a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Additionally, Will loves walking his Black Lab Leo twice a day. He also likes to design and play board games... In his free time, Will enjoys painting, watching movies, and working out.
