As a First Command Financial Advisor, I am committed to helping clients consistently make the smart, informed financial decisions that are essential to the pursuit of long-term financial security. I chose this profession because I believe it gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the people I work with. Experience has taught me that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior. That’s why I seek to form trusting, long term relationships with clients, serving as their personal financial coach by: 1. Helping them set specific and meaningful goals that are aligned with their values 2. Providing them with a comprehensive, personalized plan for effectively pursuing their goals 3. Encouraging and motivating them to adopt and consistently practice the productive financial behaviors necessary to successfully execute their plan 4. Making strategic adjustments in their plan as their circumstances and goals evolve over time I don’t believe in shortcuts to financial security. I advocate time-tested financial principles including prudent and responsible debt management, disciplined saving and investing and a thoughtful insurance strategy for managing financial risk. And as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), I am held to a fiduciary standard, required in all cases to act in the clients’ best interests. Steve Cyr joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 1989, following eight years of service in the United States Army. There, he served as a trainer for Officer Basic Course as well as an engineer in troop units in the United States and Germany. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration on Economics, Steve holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association. Steve understands that purposeful investing requires both prudent investment selection and disciplined behavior, and he can recommend carefully selected investment products that support clients' goals for retirement planning, education funding, asset management and more. And because risk management is an essential part of a financial plan, Steve frequently helps clients develop a cost-effective insurance strategy to manage risks to their financial well-being. A long-time Financial Advisor with First Command, Steve was recently recognized by the company for the number of new clients he's been able to help throughout his career. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and crushing baseballs at local batting cages.

Brady Hood joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2022. He is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security. A graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Brady holds Series 7, 66, and Series 24 securities licenses, plus life and health insurance licenses in AL, CA, FL, GA, IN, KY, LA, MI, MS, NC, NH, OH, PA, SC, and TX. Brady serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. In his free time, Brady enjoys spending time with friends, spending time with family, and traveling. Active in his community, Brady is a member of the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce.
