Andy Lawfield joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2019. He is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security. Andy has a Master's degree in Business from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Technology from Eastern Michigan University. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in CO, TN, and CA. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Andy serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Active in his community, Andy is a member of the Joint Forces Veterans Alliance (JFVA) and the Army Acquisition Corps. In his free time, Andy enjoys running, golf, and spending time with friends. Howard Rush joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in November 1984, following four years of service in the United States Navy. There, he served as a surface warfare officer and attained the rank of lieutenant. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Howard holds Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life, health, variable annuity and property-and-casualty insurance licenses. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, a certified Chartered Financial Consultant® and a Retirement Income Certified Professional®. With over 40 years of financial planning experience, Howard brings a values-centered approach and client-first philosophy to financial planning. He is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Married for 44 years, Howard and his wife are actively involved in their local church's college ministry, where they disciple and mentor Auburn University students.
