Dr Science Tutoring

History

I started my business with the goal to help students the same way I help college students. I currently work at one of the Georgia State College. I am friendly, articulate, and reliable. I make sure to connect with my students and their parents helping them feel comfortable and confident to ask any questions. My major goal is to treat my students and their parents with respect and make sure my tutoring sessions are helpful and fun. It is also important to me that my students understand that extra practice/help is worth it, and it will get them far in their careers. I want my students to be aware of the tremendous potential they have not only to go to college but to be successful in life when they put an effort. And from my personal experiences, I teach that failing does not necessarily mean that they are a failure. It is okay to fail, get up and try again or perhaps a new strategy. I am here to help with that process.

Services: 1. I work with children and adults. 2. Help with assignments in the areas of general biology and general chemistry. Microbiology and Immunology. Math. Languages (English and Spanish). 3. Help to understand difficult concepts in a more simple way. 4. I cover material that students will need in college - preparing them for the college experience. 5. I provide extra problems and exercises related to the concepts, which will help students to apply and retain the material efficiently. 6. Answering any questions, students or parents may have about the subject(s), college applications, medical school applications, and graduate school. 7. Anxiety management and tips to help students remain calm during an exam. 8. Motivate students to discover new strategies more suitable to their leaning process - we all learn differently. 9. I give public speaking advice (for special projects). 10. I provide help with scientific writing (for special projects). 11. I am a bilingual professor and able to provide classes in English and Spanish if required. 12. I provide a respectful and positive environment to help students feel comfortable and happy with their abilities!. Tutoring platforms: 1. In-Person tutoring (monthly visits) 2. Online tutoring (scheduling at more convenient times for the students) 3. On-Demand tutoring (Just when needed and if availability permits)
