Dr. Freddy A. Achecar Jr., MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy, and joint replacement at Resurgens Orthopaedics, serving Austell, Douglasville, and Vinings, GA. With over 30 years of experience, he is dedicated to providing advanced, minimally invasive treatments for hip, knee, and shoulder conditions. A Tulane University graduate, he completed his residency at the University of Tennessee's Campbell Clinic and holds leadership roles within Wellstar Health System. Dr. Achecar is passionate about restoring mobility and improving patients’ quality of life through cutting-edge orthopedic care.

Dr. Todd A. Sacks is a joint replacement specialist at Resurgens Orthopaedics, seeing patients in Austell, Douglasville, and Vinings. He specializes in total and partial knee replacement, anterior and posterior hip replacement, shoulder replacement, and minimally invasive techniques, including same-day joint replacement. Dr. Sacks earned his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse and completed his residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial. He also treats sports injuries and performs arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder.
