History
Dave's Tool and Die was founded in 2009 by David Hand after he left JS Tool in Alpharetta, GA. His inspiration for the company was a favorite local Mexican restaurant; their salsa had changed and he wanted to know why. It turns out the owner's custom salsa blender had broken and there was no way to get a replacement. Inspired by this and with several decades' experience of tool making and machining, Dave decided to purchase some equipment and rent a shop space in a local office park.
