I had a great time here! The website says admission is $5 but truthfully I was charged $10 and it was debt card only. No cash. Plenty of parking right next to the sand. Fairly large sized...

A year later and we still love visiting here. The nice warm waters of Lake Altoona, kids to play with and good amount of sunshine just 40 minutes from Downtown ATL. Just can't beat it. Parking...

This beach cost a bit more (10 dollars) but I feel like it is cleaner and the sand is better so I don't mind putting out the additional 5 bucks. We really enjoy going to the lake swimming areas....
