This company was Albany Air Conditioning and Heating Company, Inc., on Roosevelt Avenue. Along with his wife Mildred's help the company's name became trusted, and business also rapidly grew. Albany Air Conditioning and Heating Company earned a stellar reputation that has made it a community mainstay. We are proud of the history we have built. As they grew there became a need for more space and also additional employees. Albany Air met this need with a new building on Broad Avenue. This was before the company moved to its current location on West Gordon Ave. in 1973. It is here where Mr. Newsome's son, Edward C. Newsome Jr., came home from college to work for the family business. In 1990, he purchased the company from his father. Ed Jr. has continued to grow the company with the help of 50+ employees.
