The Conyers Police Department is a full-service, state-certified law enforcement agency that preserves peace and safety and safeguards constitutional rights. It maintains patrol, criminal investigation, court services, records, traffic, crime prevention, community policing, and reserve and auxiliary divisions. The department employs a staff of more than 45 sworn officers, civilians and volunteers. The Conyers Police Department also operates a communication center that maintains a multichannel police system and provides communication services for police, fire and emergency medical services.
