Founded in 1993, Transitional Family Services is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of family preservation services. It holds contracts in more than 30 counties in central and northern Georgia. The organization is approved by the state to provide wrap around, homestead, parent aid and early intervention services. Transitional Family Services also offers various home- and community-based services. It provides short-term crisis management and psychotherapeutic intervention services in the homes of clients. The organization s family preservation and support programs are accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).
