Richard is a native of the Savannah area. He attended Benedictine Military School and Savannah High School (1956). After working in a number fields Richard settled on a career in Health Care. Completing his education at the University of Chicago in Respiratory Care he returned to Savannah and practiced as a clinician and in management for over 30 years.
